Province Partnering with Stubbe’s Precast to Help Create Jobs

Queen's Park - Ontario is partnering with Stubbe's Precast Commercial Inc. to invest in a new plant and innovative technologies, creating 58 jobs and retaining 216 positions in Harley.

Stubbe's Precast manufactures structural and architectural precast concrete for residential, agricultural and commercial use. With support from the province, the company is investing in a highly automated 200,000 square feet plant which will speed up the production process, improve quality and consistency of finishes. The company's products include hollow core flooring, structural wall panels, double tees, columns and beams. The new plant is set up for the production of structural walls.

The new equipment will also improve efficiency and reliability over current manual based systems, enhancing the company's capacity to meet increasing customer demand.
Investing in manufacturing is part of our plan to create jobs, grow our economy and help people in their everyday lives.
