More than 20 tech companies will be in attendance to speak to candidates about career opportunities in their organizations. Companies such as Agfa HealthCare, AideRSS, Christie Digital Systems Systems Canada, COM DEV, Covarity, Descartes, Desire2Learn, Economical Insurance, Intelligent Mechatronic Systems, Intellitactics, Labtronics, MedShare, Metranome, Miovision, Open Text, Research In Motion Limited, Sandvine, Tech Capital Partners, Unitron Hearing, Xylotek Solutions and more are looking to add talented people to their teams.
Skills most in demand are software developers, quality assurance specialists, financial analysts, and sales professionals.
“We know getting the best talent continues to be one of the top issues for tech companies. In order for tech firms to continue growing, they need to find and hire great people,” says Iain Klugman, president and CEO, Communitech. “Tech firms here have proven resilience they weathered the storm when the tech bubble burst in 2001, and we’re confident they can continue to compete now.”
