Report Reveals Sales Culture is in Trouble

"Thousands of apps now exist to help salespeople research, track, and contact buyers across media channels. One small problem: everyone is using them. Buyers are flooded with messages, making it tough to stand out," the report reads.

A 'Sales Culture Effectiveness Report' released by DoubleDigit Sales shows the percentage of salespeople making quota is at its lowest point since the Great Recession.

With too-long sales cycles, difficulties generating qualified leads and a flooded digital market, sales organizations are struggling.

"Ask any sales leader how selling has changed in the past decade, and you'll hear one recurring theme: It's a lot harder," says the Harvard Business Review.
